    2GIG GC3 - Panel Tamper

Master the Art of Fixing Tamper Alerts on Your 2GIG GC3 Panel with These Simple Steps

A panel tamper occurs when the panel is not sitting flat on it's mounting bracket. This can cause your panel to alert you by beeping 3 times every minute and have a flashing 1 on the screen.

If your Fluent GC3 is tampering, check the following:

    1. Does your panel appear to not be sitting flat on the wall?
    2. If you press gently on the top of the panel does the flashing light go away?
    3. If your panel isn't sitting flat or it goes away after gently pressing it here is a quick guide to help get this fixed:

    Opening the panel

    1. Unplug wall plug (normally located directly below the panel)
    2. With the screw driver loosen the set screw that is located underneath the panel in the middle
    3. Remove panel from wall by pulling bottom corners towards you
    4. Check and see if anything is obstructing the panel from closing tightly
    5. If you find anything please remove and place panel back on mounting bracket and make sure panel is closed tightly.

**At times the battery will swell causing the panel to tamper. If this happens follow the steps below starting with step 4.**
