What is Needed
1 – CR-123A Battery
- Ensure the panel is disarmed.
- Remove the carbon monoxide detector from its base plate by twisting counterclockwise.
- Remove the old batteries.
- Replace with a new CR-123A battery.
- Reinstall the carbon monoxide detector by lining up the grooves and twisting clockwise.

Test the sensor.
- Check the panel to ensure the error has cleared.
