What is Needed
1 – CR-123A Battery
- Ensure the panel is disarmed.
- Open the sensor by twisting the sensor cover counterclockwise.
- Remove the old battery.
- Wait 15–20 seconds.
- Install a replacement CR-123A battery.
- Remount the smoke detector by lining up the grooves and twisting clockwise.
- Check the panel to ensure the error has cleared.
